RESEARCH FIELD
The main research topics are focused on emerging materials and technology. These topics are both linked to urban space as well as to built environment. The research results were also applied on teaching and professional activities: urban colour plan, media building, smart enhancement, urban regeneration, etc. They were published in national books, international journals and review. The main research published are three: advanced façade, connected space, colour and light.
ADVANCED FAÇADE
The research explores the technological potentiality of media-architectures from perceptive, constructive and environmental point of view. Within this research I analysed the environmental impact of new digital facades/architecture in urban space and for the society; the more innovative technologies and shape with low environmental impact. The research results are published on national monograph and international review.
CONNECTED SPACE
This research was developed on two-research grant about the enhancement program of military abandoned landscape. The research studied the different levels of urban design regeneration of abandoned areas, with a focus on the new functions, urban regeneration and new connection. The study applied the emerging technology and smart materials to urban enhancement. The research results are publish on Italian monograph “Spazi connessi” (ed. Maggioli, 2019, Milan)
COLOUR & LIGHT
The research is cross-sectional between the others and it focused on colored and lighting technology for built-environment. The sub-topic are: colour design in the school; colour urban plans, colour and light for urban regeneration; colour and light for enhancement, regeneration and reuse of cultural and landscaping heritage.
